Following the genocide of Yazidis in 2014, 'never again'
On 6 February, 104 members of the Yazidi community killed by Daesh were reburied in a ceremony in Kocho in the northern Iraqi region of Sinjar. The Yazidis live in different countries but came together last Friday to show their respect and mourn their loss.
Researcher Cevdet Acu (www.cevdetacu.com), a graduate student at the Department of Economic History at Exeter University, not only analyzes how national and international forces left Yazidis alone during the Yazidi genocide, but also provides information about this ancient people and their belief.
